Welcome to the GoodCrush blog! Here you can keep up with daily updates and features from the world of GoodCrush as we gear towards our Valentine’s Day launch.
What is GoodCrush?
GoodCrush is a brand new website that changes the way college students romantically connect. Using our ‘CrushFinder’ feature, students are able to cut through the messy elements of our interconnected, digital lives, and find the people they share true connections with in a risk-free way. The simple user interface asks students to enter their name and e-mail address, and then list up to five crushes. If crushes are mutual, the two students’ identities are revealed to one another. The rest is up to you!
There are plenty of other features including user profiles, top 10 most crushed on, and my favorite— missed connections— which allows users to anonymously post and browse short accounts of unfulfilled love left at their school. These missed connections can span anywhere from fleeting exchanges with strangers to longtime crushes yet to be revealed. For an idea of how this works, head over to our alpha page at Princeton, which is already thriving with over a thousand accounts of students pouring their guts out.
In addition to Princeton, we’re preparing to launch at over twenty five schools across the land this February. This means lots of exciting developments and happenings for us to share here, so stay tuned.
